Together, the VINOS and Cornucopia are bringing the best of BC wine to the silver screen. As the world’s first wine-based film festival, the VINOS rejoice life through wine, and this year’s event is a celebration of the festival’s best coming from Osoyoos to Whistler’s Cornucopia. The ‘Best of the VINOS’ party tasks you with donning your Hollywood best, putting on your ‘Oscars face’ and walking the red carpet at this lively and wine-soaked award-show experience. Wine and film enthusiasts have created short films about BC wines and Wineries, of which the top submissions from 2010, 2011 and 2012 will be screened to a discernible palate of experts, media and guests to decide the over-all People’s Choice Winner. Grab your glass, take a seat, enjoy the show, and get inspired for next year’s event at which YOUR film may under the critics’ eye! Then be sure to stick around for the Vinos wrap party, post screening. Rub shoulders with the producers of the winning submissions while you and your friends strategize on how your video will win it all in 2013. Enjoy the camaraderie while sampling more fantastic BC wine and reveling to the inspired tunes by our DJ.
