Q: Is there food at the CRUSH Gala Grand Tastings?
A: No.  There are small samples of cheese, charcuterie, bread, fruit and chocolate but it will not be sufficient for dinner.  We recommend that guest take advantage of the many culinary establishments in Whistler for dinner either before or after the CRUSH Tasting.

Q: Is there food at the wine seminars?
A: Not unless specified in the event description.

Q: Are children allowed at the CRUSH Gala Grand Tasting?
A: No.  This is event is for guests 19 years of age and up therefore children will not be admitted.

Q: Can you recommend a babysitting company?
A: Nannies on Call (website – http://www.nanniesoncall.com/blog/category/where-to-go/whistler/)

Q: What is the dress code for the CRUSH Gala Grand Tasting?
A: There is no mandatory dress code for the event but we find that most guests wear either cocktail attire or get dressed up to the nines. That being said, jeans and a nice shirt are acceptable as well.

Q: Where can I pick up my tickets that I purchased online?
A: You can pick them up at the Cornucopia Will Call which is located in the lower valley foyer of the Whistler Conference Centre.  The will call will open on Thursday Nov. 10th.  Hours of Operation are from 10am to 10pm, 10th, 11th & 12th & 9am-5pm November 13th.

Q: Where can I pick up tickets to the Winemaker Dinner that I purchased?
A: There are not physical tickets to Winemaker Dinners purchased online. All reservations will be included on a guest list provided to the restaurant.  All you have to do is show up on the night of.  If you’d like to bring a copy of your confirmation email, it doesn’t hurt.

Q: Do I have to tip at the Winemaker Dinner that I purchased online.
A: No. Gratuity & HST has been included in the price of the ticket.  If you were very happy with the service and feel the need to tip extra you are welcome to but it is not required or necessary.

Q: How can I get tickets to the Bearfoot Bistro Masquerave?
A: To purchase tickets to the Bearfoot Bistro Masquerave guest must contact the restaurant directly or visit the restaurant’s website.

Q: Where do I pick up the bus for the Chef’s Trip to the Farm and Chef’s Table Luncheons?
A: Busses will pick up guests at the allotted times outside the Whistler Conference Centre. Guests can congregate in the lower valley foyer and enjoy a cup of coffee until the busses arrive.

Q: How can I donate an item for the Silent Auction this year?
A: Cornucopia 2011′s official charity is WAG – Whistler Animals Galore.  If you’d like to donate an item to the silent auction you can contact Paula Del Bosco directly at pdelbosco@whistlerwag.com.

Q: How can I volunteer for Cornucopia 2011?
A: You can sign up online here or, during the event, come to the Whistler Conference Centre lower Valley Foyer. Our volunteer room is located in the Tantalus Room (to the left as you walk in the Valley Foyer doors). Please note: the volunteer room is only open during Cornucopia, please do not visit outside of these event dates as no one will be there.
