Hello Cornucopia Enthusiasts,
As we gear up for this year’s festival, I couldn’t be more excited to share with you the incredible lineup we have in store. Cornucopia has always been a celebration of the very best in food and beverages, and this year is no exception. We’ve got a mix of fresh, new events and familiar favourites that have become staples over the years.
One of the things that make Cornucopia so special is the talent it attracts. This year, we’re thrilled to welcome celebrated chefs and beverage experts to our stages. These beverage & culinary masters will be showcasing their skills, sharing their knowledge, and, of course, serving up some unforgettable experiences.
I’m particularly excited about the return of Samantha Rahn, a name that has become synonymous for industry insiders with Cornucopia for well over a decade. Samantha, one of British Columbia’s most renowned and award-winning sommeliers, has been an ambassador for Cornucopia for many years, and her passion and expertise have been a huge part of our success. This year, Samantha joins the Watermark team in a larger role, where she’ll be curating our beverage seminars and making her presence felt on the culinary stages. Her involvement is sure to elevate the festival to new heights, and I can’t wait for you to see what she has in store.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible leadership of our Event Director, Justina Armstrong. Justina is back for her tenth year at the helm, and her dedication to ensuring world-class execution is unmatched. Her experience and vision have been instrumental in making Cornucopia the event it is today. Under her guidance, our team has been working tirelessly to create an experience that is not only memorable but truly world-class.
What’s new this year? Well, without giving too much away, let me just say that we’ve added some innovative new events and twists that I think you’re going to love. From intimate dinners at Whistler’s internationally acclaimed restaurants to seminars that will let you get up close and personal with the best in the business, this year’s festival promises to be more entertaining and engaging than ever before. And don’t worry, our perennial sellout events are back too, so if you have a favourite, make sure you grab your tickets early!
