Drink Seminar: Is this Bourbon Bonded?
Presenter: Darryl Lamb.
In 1897, the second most famous Kentucky Colonel in history, Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr went to Washington to demand that the rules around Bourbon be cleaned up. Producers would use anything charcoal to tobacco spit to colour their whiskey. The Bonded Bourbon was born and the reputation of America’s native spirit was saved. Join Legacy Liquor Store Brand Manager Darryl Lamb on a tour of Bonded Bourbon, Bonded rye, and even a legendary Straight Corn Whiskey. See why some in the bourbon community proclaim Bonded bourbon to be the purest bourbon in the world.
