Julia Diakow started working in the hospitality industry at the age of sixteen. She developed a passion for bartending during two years at Earls Restaurant. Her desire to pursue a career in the field led her to accept a position at the Donnelly Group’s New Oxford, where she benefited from the mentorship of Bar and Beverage Director Trevor Kallies. She subsequently learned about many facets of the industry while tending bar at Cuchillo, The Rosewood Hotel Georgia and Tacofino Gastown. She continues to expand her horizons, currently running the Sales and Marketing department of Sovereign Canada.
