Although he was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Michael Kelly Brown’s career in the food, wine, and hospitality industries has spanned continents. He managed restaurants, bars and clubs in the Czech Republic and Scotland before returning to the US, where he was the general manager for Portland’s famous Bluehour Restaurant. His passion for food and wine pairing led him to study through the Court of Master Sommeliers and subsequently to join Sokol Blosser 7 years ago. In his current role as Vice President of Consumer Sales he developed and opened the winery’s award-winning Tasting Room.
